“Read, read, read. Read everything — trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You’ll absorb it.
Then write. If it’s good, you’ll find out. If it’s not, throw it out of the window.”
― William Faulkner

Hello, thanks for visiting my blog. I am Anista Fefiana, short for Fefi. Currently working in a leading State Owned Enterprises in construction industry. I live in the beautiful tropical country called Indonesia. Talking about hobbies, I have many! I like writing as much as reading. The more I read the more I want to put pen to paper. Besides that, I love traveling and have a BIG dream to travel the world. I really want to travel and experience the life in Europe, especially Italy (yes, I am so obsessed with this country), the Netherlands (and this is the only one country that can beat my love and obsession to Italy), France, and other amazing countries. Did I mention that I like to meet new people? Yeah, I love to meet new people, especially if they come from different culture; it’s very interesting to get to know more about each different country, its culture, its nature beauty and most importantly learn new languages. I’ve been learning some foreign languages such as Italian, French, Turkish, Japanese, Chinese and lately I started learning Dutch, and found out that it is a very interesting language to learn besides Italian (the easiest foreigner languages I’ve ever learnt, so far). For now, I learn these languages by myself with a help from some friends (the native speakers), and I can’t thank them enough for teaching me from the very basics.
I hope to meet more of you, the language learner,  professional or amateur writer or anyone who likes to talk about culture and stuff. Feel free to contact me on one of these social media sites on this page.

Hope we can be friends 🙂

Greetings from Indonesia
Yours truly,

  1. Great site. Was trying to figure out if there is a name for that phenomina where the day month and year are the same (ie: 12/12/12) which led me to your blog. Good luck with your plans to go to italy. I’m a radio ham and quite often talk with folks in italy. Having been there once in my life, and coming as I do from the UK, I can say it is a wonderfully interesting country.

Anyway, what did you do when you were in Italy? Travelling or did a job? :))
